2024 Fundraising Activities

 Anita is excited to serve as Fundraising VP for DMQG and she needs your help for us to succeed!

Our raffle fundraiser for 2024 will be here before we know it and this year we have 2 Grand Prizes: 

• First Grand Prize, is a 2-night hotel stay in Houston for the International Quilt Festival in November 2024.  
• Second Grand Prize, is a Featherweight machine that has graciously been donated. 

All other winners will receive one of the assorted mini quilts made by YOU - our talented members.   We would love to have a large variety of mini quilts to raffle off. From March until May, we will be showing these quilts at neighboring guild meetings in order to sell raffle tickets. Stay tuned for opportunities to accompany me on this road show.

Our ability to offer great programming and other activities for you as Guild members is dependent upon our fundraising.  We ask anyone who is able to take the time to make a mini quilt showcasing your talent and artistic abilities.  Please get your creative juices flowing now and start sewing!  More minis, more winners. 

Mini Quilt Guidelines:
Size: up to 24" x 24"

Style: modern, creative, fun, dramatic, bright, dark – you decide!

DMQG label:  we will have them printed and available soon, you add the name of the quilt and quilt maker.

Due Date: Preferably in January, no later than our February meeting.

HAVE FUN PLEASE and make a mini quilt or 2 that you would like to have!
Drawings will occur at the DMQG meeting in May 2024.
