Workshops

Saturday, March 29 - The Warbler Workshop with Pixel Quilts

Parrot Pixel Quilt Workshop

  • An introduction to sewing pixel quilts using 2 techniques.
  • Participants will be taught both techniques whilst putting together a pixel parrot enabling them to distinguish which method they prefer before attempting their own pixel quilt.
  • We will be piecing 9 blocks from Dee’s newest pattern, the Bird Quilt. This can be used as a standalone wall hanging or cushion cover. You can also turn this into the entire Bird Quilt, the pattern will be provided to workshop participants.
  • Participants can also work with Dee on advice on how to create their own pixel quilts.
  • Kits for the class will be $25 and will include the 9 block parrot pattern, the 10 fabric shades needed, and the Quiltsmart Interface pixel grid to complete one block.  You can also source your own fabric and pixel grid, a breakdown of the fabric shades and yardage will be sent to you.

RSVP Here.  The detailed supply list will be emailed to you upon registration.
